About the role

Our Registered Nurses are part of our skilled nursing team that provides specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess needs and implement care as you deem necessary, utilizing the latest technology and being part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan (MUST BE RN).
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.

Pay

• Starting wage: $35.15 per hour
• $42.55 per hour on Nights
• $3.40 per hour Hero Pay
• $4.00 per hour shift premium for 3rd shift
• $10,000 Sign On Bonus
• Yearly wage increases

Schedule

• Full Time or Part Time available
