About the role

Join our skilled nursing team at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre as a Registered Nurse, providing specialized care to patients in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will assess patient needs, implement care plans, and work within an interdisciplinary team using the latest technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and advise patients and families on treatment plans and condition changes.
• Provide preventative and supportive care addressing both physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Oversee and direct the CNA team, including assignments, training, recognition, and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and recovery through encouragement and support.

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license and CPR certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• High level of analytical ability to develop personalized care plans and implement effective nursing and rehabilitation care.
• Strong problem-solving skills for addressing patient well-being challenges.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate, innovative care.
• Team-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting colleagues and achieving shared goals.

Pay

Starting wage: $39.40 per hour (base rate of $36.00 per hour plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay). Additional $10,000 sign-on bonus. Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• Full-time or part-time positions available.
• 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends.
