Registered Nurse Residency Program - Medical Telemetry

Role Overview

Responsible for participating in the Nurse Residency Program by attending classes, workshops, and clinical competencies under supervision. They assist in managing patient care, collecting data, developing care plans, and performing treatments aligned with practice standards. They act as advocates, coordinate with healthcare teams, and ensure documentation accuracy. They delegate nursing tasks appropriately, participate in quality improvement, and adhere to organizational policies including confidentiality and infection control.

Qualifications & Skills

• Requires an Associate degree in Nursing and a valid RN license; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience needed, but candidates with over 12 months are ineligible.
• Must hold a current multistate RN license.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures and understand patient needs across age groups is required.
