Registered Nurse - Renal

About the role

This position involves providing specialized renal nursing care, including peritoneal and hemodialysis treatments, monitoring patients for complications, and supporting families with education on patient care. The nurse will deliver medical care to both renal and non-renal patients, utilizing clinical skills to address diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor dialysis procedures ensuring patient safety and treatment efficacy.
• Educate and support families on patient care and symptom recognition.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care across various patient populations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, through AHA or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
