About the role
Registered Nurse in the Renal Medical Department, providing direct patient care on night shifts with three 12‑hour weekend shifts per week.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans in accordance with organizational policies and protocols.
- Assess, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
- Serve as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for seamless patient care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid licensure and certification, including BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing before employment begins.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Adherence to policies.
- Effective communication.
