Registered Nurse - Renal

About the role

Provides specialized renal nursing care, including peritoneal and hemodialysis treatments, while monitoring patient health and managing complications.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support dialysis procedures, ensuring patient safety and effective treatment delivery.
• Educate and support patients’ families on care techniques and recognizing medical issues.
• Deliver comprehensive medical nursing care to renal and non‑renal patients, utilizing clinical skills to address diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a recognized multi‑state license.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
• Preferred: 6 months of acute care nursing experience.
