Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation and Health Center

About the role

Provide quality nursing care in a rehabilitation and health center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous routes.
  • Supervise, guide, and coordinate nursing assistants and staff.
  • Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
  • Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Contribute to research and documentation related to nursing care quality.
  • Manage records, assessments, and scheduling of physicals and new admissions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to supervise staff, make nursing decisions, and work collaboratively with healthcare team members.
  • Dependable, flexible, compassionate, and attentive to patients’ needs.
  • Engaged in ongoing training and adherence to infection control standards.
