About the role
Provide quality nursing care in a rehabilitation and health center environment.
Responsibilities
- Follow physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous routes.
- Supervise, guide, and coordinate nursing assistants and staff.
- Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
- Contribute to research and documentation related to nursing care quality.
- Manage records, assessments, and scheduling of physicals and new admissions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to supervise staff, make nursing decisions, and work collaboratively with healthcare team members.
- Dependable, flexible, compassionate, and attentive to patients’ needs.
- Engaged in ongoing training and adherence to infection control standards.
