About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Rehab Nursing unit. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the nursing care given to patients. We are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individual patient care plans in accordance with standards of nursing practice through implementation of the nursing process and nursing diagnosis
• Administer medications as ordered for specific group of patients and demonstrate knowledge of their modes of action, side effects and contraindications
• Evaluate patient environment for safety and communicate identified concerns to the appropriate person in a timely manner
• Provide patient education and keep patient informed of treatment plan
• Work alongside Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy teams

Requirements

• Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
• BLS Certification required
• Basic computer and hospital informatics skills required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute clinical care RN experience required
• Experience in acute rehab, Med Surg, Critical Care/Step Down preferred
• CRRN certification highly desirable
