About the role
PRN night shift role providing complex patient care based on established policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and analyze data to determine diagnoses.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to set and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans using clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
- Ensure a safe environment and effective communication across all practice areas.
- Maintain current knowledge, contribute to nursing quality, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Current RN license in the relevant state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications.
- Additional certifications like PALS, ENPC, NRP, TNCC, or equivalent may be required depending on the state.
Skills
- Ability to use clinical inquiry, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform necessary tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and visual and auditory assessments.
