About the role
Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing housing and services to seniors with a focus on quality care in a Christian environment. The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care, ensuring competence within the full scope of nursing practice and adhering to age and population-specific standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver resident care across all phases of health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Assess residents, educate them, and perform various nursing interventions.
- Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe and reliable care.
- Support staff to resolve care and service concerns within scope of practice, following nursing standards and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Hold an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure if applicable.
- Maintain required competencies and certifications.
- Knowledge of nursing standards, ethical practices, and effective collaboration skills.
Additional Information
