Role Overview
The RN Program Coordinator is a clinical leader responsible for providing specialized expertise, consultation, education, and research within their designated area or specialty.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate care across the continuum, develop and review clinical protocols, policies, and practice guidelines to ensure organized and effective programs.
- Oversee program personnel, assist in strategic and budget planning, and act as a liaison for stakeholders.
- Evaluate program effectiveness, monitor clinical outcomes and quality of care, and implement process improvements.
- Contribute to patient experience initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN (with a requirement to obtain a BSN within four years if not already held).
- Expertise in disease-specific care, with proven nursing experience and quality management skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, data analysis, and educational program development.
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
- 3-5 years in orthopedics or neuro surgery circulating roles, and at least one year of RN coordinator or Charge RN experience.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ongoing visual, verbal, and manual dexterity capabilities, with the ability to drive if necessary.
