About the role

Provide direct nursing care by implementing and monitoring patient care plans in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.

Coordinate patient care across all disciplines as the primary point of contact, ensuring a well-synchronized and comprehensive experience for every patient.

Monitor and communicate patient conditions by accurately noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective clinical interventions.

Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure all patient needs are met for a safe transition after their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care by implementing and monitoring patient care plans in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Care for patients in a procedural observation setting, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Coordinate patient care across all disciplines as the primary point of contact, ensuring a well-synchronized and comprehensive experience for every patient.
  • Monitor and communicate patient conditions by accurately noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective clinical interventions.
  • Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure all patient needs are met for a safe transition after their stay.

Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required.
  • Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Skills

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of clinical policies and procedures.

Compensation and benefits are competitive and will vary based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
