About the role
Registered Nurse (PRN Tier 3) providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Support hospital standards to foster a cooperative, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information and ensure effective communication within the care team.
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately.
- Assume responsibility for patient/family education and promote professional growth.
- Engage in team building, interpersonal relationships, and adherence to hospital policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Valid nursing license or eligibility to practice in Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
