Registered Nurse - PRN Tier 2 - Nights

About the role

Seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality, technical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The role involves direct and indirect patient care, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment, and effective communication with patients, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to hospital standards, promote teamwork, and foster a cooperative work environment
• Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding of care plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies accurately and safely
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of patient information
• Engage in professional growth and development activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligible for licensure
• At least 1 year of labor & delivery RN experience

Schedule

This role involves working 12 hours per week, including two shifts per pay period, with some weekend and holiday shifts as required.
