Registered Nurse - PRN Tier 2 - Nights

About the role

The registered nurse provides high-quality, professional nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Supports organizational mission, values, and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families, ensuring understanding of information.
• Administer medications and IV therapies accurately and safely.
• Adhere to hospital standards and promote a cooperative work environment through communication, teamwork, and relationship building.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
• Use the nursing process to deliver continuous quality patient care.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of patient information.
• Take personal responsibility for professional growth and performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
