Registered Nurse - PRN - Medical/Surgical (Days/Nights)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on medical conditions
• Administer prescribed medications appropriately
• Provide age-appropriate care and assist with self-care activities
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans
• Perform treatments and utilize nursing knowledge effectively
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in patient care
• Assist physicians with procedures and technical services
• Identify psychosocial needs and communicate with social services
• Practice cost-effective resource management
• Prioritize patient care to promote safety and quality
• Engage in lifelong professional learning

Requirements

• Minimum of one year nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Computer literacy
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire

Skills

• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications
