Medical Surgical RN (PRN) (Days/Nights)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities within established standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on managing their illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patient, and family.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
• Communicates effectively across the continuum of care.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
