Medical Surgical RN (PRN) (Days/Nights)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Maintain safety sensitivity and work alertly to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree mandatory; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
