The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery provides direct patient care to perinatal patients, including adolescents, adults, and newborns, under the supervision of charge staff. Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care following hospital policies and professional standards.
• Maintain ongoing education in fetal monitoring, STABLE, and perinatal safety.
• Monitor fetal well-being and assist during labor.
• Support neonatal resuscitation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

• Valid RN license with an associate degree or diploma.
• Certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification, obtained within specified timeframes.
