PRN Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

About the Role

The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of adolescent (12–17 years) and adult (18–50 years) patients in Overland Park Regional Medical Center’s fast-paced, high-acuity, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit. This critical-care environment involves managing complex pregnancies, rapid childbirth, and emergency interventions, requiring quick, precise, and potentially life-saving decisions.

Schedule

PRN (as-needed) position with a flexible schedule: minimum 3 shifts per month, up to 3 shifts per week. Night shift hours are 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Registered Nurse Diploma
• BLS certification (required upon hire)
• ACLS certification (must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date)
• NRP certification (must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date)
• Minimum two (2) years of Labor and Delivery experience; high-risk OB experience preferred
