Concentra is seeking a PRN (as-needed) Registered Nurse to cover the full-time RN on 3rd shift at our onsite clinic in Moraine, OH. Coverage hours are Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare patients for examination and treatment, and assist the practitioner as requested.
- Draw blood and prepare appropriate paperwork for laboratory pick-up.
- Perform urine drug screens using proper chain of custody; ensure preparation for pick-up and shipment to the appropriate laboratory.
- Maintain exam rooms, lab area, and treatment rooms—keep them clean and stocked, manage inventory of supplies, and re-order as needed.
- Assist in medical record maintenance by keeping health, administrative, and program records onsite while safeguarding confidentiality of employee health information.
- Perform front office clerical duties such as answering telephones, check-in, check-out, and record processing.
- Dispense medications as directed by the practitioner and in accordance with state regulations.
- Maintain and operate all clinical equipment, including calibration and record-keeping in accordance with current policies and procedures.
- Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws) following established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current registration/license in the state of employment.
- Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT, and FIT certification.
- At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational health nursing or a related field.
- Continuing education required to maintain licensure and perform job duties.

- Demonstrated ability to train medical assistants under the direction of the Center Medical Director.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education.
Schedule
- Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM (PRN/as-needed basis to cover 3rd shift).
