Registered Nurse - PRN

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN role specializing in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence care. This position offers opportunities to work in a full-service community hospital with inpatient and outpatient services, including a wound clinic. The role emphasizes compassionate patient interactions and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education
• Implement medically prescribed interventions

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Wound, Ostomy, and Continence certification (CWOCN) is mandatory

Qualifications

Preferred: at least one year of hospital nursing experience
