Registered Nurse - Pre Admission Testing - Days

Role: Registered Nurse in Pre-Procedure Services, responsible for patient education, coordination, and clinical support prior to surgeries. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient interviews via telephone to provide procedural information and instructions.Educate patients about upcoming surgeries and pre-anesthetic evaluations.Collaborate with anesthesia teams and ensure completion of pre-surgical testing.Assist in integrating research into nursing practices and maintain current knowledge of nursing standards.Deliver safe, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and supervise assistive personnel.Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to promote optimal outcomes and safety. Qualifications & Skills Current IL nursing licensure; BSN preferred.Minimum 5 years of peri-anesthesia experience, with strong pre-admission testing background preferred.BLS/CPR certification required.Proficiency in EPIC application is preferred.
