Registered Nurse - Postpartum Full-Time Nights

About the Role

Provides safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies and standards, offering professional leadership to the healthcare team. The role emphasizes Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs of patients and families.
• Develop and implement personalized care and treatment plans, addressing diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, including goal setting and discharge planning.
• Perform hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs, ensuring a patient-friendly environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certification; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Preferably, one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• STABLE certification (or obtained within six months).
• Successful completion of pre-employment assessments as required.
