Registered Nurse - Post Surgical Unit - Nights

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with patients and team members.
• Provide individualized education to patients and families based on their needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice and outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a surgical setting during night shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid nursing license in the state.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
