Registered Nurse - Per Diem Nights

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem position on our Medical/Telemetry Unit. The role involves providing safe, compassionate, patient-centered care by assessing psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and coordinating interdisciplinary treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Complete purposeful hourly rounds
• Enhance communication with patients and families
• Follow risk-minimization communication practices such as SBAR
• Demonstrate service excellence and integrate direct and indirect care activities to meet diverse patient needs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current Nevada nursing license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least one year of full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting
