Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Night Shift

About the role

This position is for a Per Diem Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery and postpartum care. The nurse will provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Independently deliver high-quality nursing care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Promote safety and enhance patient experience through positive contributions

Qualifications

• Current IL Nursing Licensure
• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AHA)
• Minimum of two years recent clinical experience in Labor and Delivery and postpartum care
