Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Night Shift

Role: RN - Resource Team/Float Pool Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient assessment and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues through in-person, phone, and written interactions.Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet specific learning needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing practices.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.Current nursing license in Illinois.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Key Duties Work as part of the resource/float pool, providing patient care during scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.Work a minimum of 48 hours every 6 weeks, with at least 12 hours on weekends.Possess strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills.
