About the role
Registered Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit, working night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, gather health data, and coordinate individualized care plans to ensure safe and effective interventions.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members both verbally and in writing.
- Provide tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Successful completion of an accredited Associate's degree or BSN.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Deliver patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team.
- Participate in quality initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards.
