Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Intermediate Care Unit - Nights

Role: Registered Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit, working nights to provide quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare team members.Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring safety, timeliness, and appropriateness.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues through various channels.Personalize patient and family education based on thorough assessments.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Additional Details: The role requires availability for at least 48 hours every six weeks, including weekends, and involves participating in nursing orientation.
