Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, gather health data, and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans ensuring safe, timely, and appropriate interventions.
- Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Provide tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts, ensure safety and compliance, and contribute to professional development initiatives.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited institution.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
