Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Cardiac Renal Unit - Night Shift

Role: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Renal Unit (Nights) Key Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.Provide individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current nursing knowledge, standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current nursing license in Illinois.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. This role requires a per diem schedule with a minimum of 48 hours every 6 weeks, including at least 24 hours on weekends, working overnight shifts from 7pm to 7:30am every other weekend.
