Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Cardiac Renal Unit - Nights

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a cardiac renal unit during night shifts.
• Ensure safety and quality in nursing practices and patient education.
• Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active nursing license in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
