About the role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with pediatric OR experience for a PRN role in a pediatric acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room
- Perform assessments
- Execute interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery
- Assist physicians in implementing care plans
- Maintain continuity of care between the operating room and patient care units
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OR (peds) RN experience
- Ohio RN license
- BSN degree or in progress
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS preferred
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- American Heart Association certification
- Ability to pass background screening and onboarding
- CNOR certification highly preferred
- Pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, and laser experience a plus
