About the role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Pediatric Operating Room (OR) position in a pediatric acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include providing nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery, performing assessments, and implementing interventions to ensure patient safety. The role involves assisting physicians and maintaining care continuity between the OR and patient care units.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics
- Ohio RN license
- BSN or in progress
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred)
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Prior pediatric, reconstructive surgery, or laser experience is a plus
- CNOR certification is a plus
