Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

About the role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in Pediatrics and Operating Room (OR) for a PRN position in a pediatric acute care hospital. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about pediatric OR care, seeking flexible hours, with a focus on safety, patient advocacy, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery
• Performing assessments
• Implementing interventions to ensure patient safety
• Assisting physicians with the care plan
• Maintaining continuity between the OR and patient care units

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years OR (Peds) experience
• Ohio RN license
• BSN or in progress
• Current American Heart Association certifications

Skills

• Strong patient assessment
• Critical thinking
• Ability to pass background checks
• Certifications including BLS and ACLS
• PALS and CNOR preferred
