About the role
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric OR Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN position in a pediatric acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room
- Performing assessments
- Implementing interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery
- Collaborating with physicians to execute care plans
- Maintaining continuity between the operating room and patient care units
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years OR experience in pediatrics
- Active Ohio RN license
- BSN (or in progress)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred certifications: PALS and CNOR
Skills
- Strong patient assessment
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to pass background and onboarding requirements
