Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

About the role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in pediatrics and operating room (OR) care for a pediatric acute care hospital. This role offers strong support for healthcare professionals passionate about pediatric and OR nursing.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery
• Performing assessments and interventions to ensure patient safety
• Collaborating with physicians to execute the care plan
• Maintaining continuity of care between the operating room and patient care units
• Assessing patients
• Supporting surgical teams
• Ensuring safety protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years OR experience in pediatrics
• Ohio RN license
• BSN degree or in progress
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• American Heart Association certification

Preferred Skills

• CNOR certification
• Experience in pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, or laser procedures
