Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Pediatrics and Operating Room (OR) care for a PRN position in a pediatric acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR
• Performing assessments
• Interventions for patient safety during surgery
• Assisting physicians with care plans
• Ensuring continuity between the patient care unit and OR

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2 years OR experience in pediatrics
• Ohio RN license
• BSN (or in progress)
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• American Heart Association certification
• Ability to pass screening requirements
• CNOR certification (highly preferred)
• Pediatric or reconstructive surgery experience (highly preferred)
