Registered Nurse - Part Time Mid Shift

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency setting. The role requires a dynamic individual capable of coordinating care, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring high-quality patient treatment.

Responsibilities

• performing head-to-toe assessments on diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatrics
• prioritizing patient care based on physical and psychosocial needs
• monitoring hemodynamic status and interpreting results
• utilizing triage processes for timely patient assessment and care
• communicating with physicians regarding patient status and diagnostic results
• responding swiftly to changes in patient condition
• educating patients and families on pain management techniques

Qualifications

• current NV RN license
• 2-3 years of emergency or critical care experience or extensive EMS background
• current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS and ACLS within 6 months of hire)
