Registered Nurse - PACU (Part-Time)

About the Role

Provide comprehensive patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process and coordinating with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver quality patient care.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered by team members.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
• Ensure adherence to organizational mission, values, and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year RN/PACU experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state; responsible for maintaining licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC may be necessary based on unit requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movements as needed.
