Registered Nurse - PACU (Part-Time)

About the role

The Registered Nurse provides patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) by utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability. Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care in the PACU.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license for Missouri or a compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (PACU experience preferred).

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC (based on departmental needs).

Physical Demands

• Lifting and moving patients as required.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Various movements necessary for patient care (e.g., bending, reaching).
