About the Role

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Demonstrate solid knowledge and clinical skills in a fast-paced, high-volume trauma and surgical environment.
• Maintain up-to-date status on all mandatory training and classes.
• Obtain and maintain current CPR certification.
• Complete 10 contact hours of continuing education every two years.

Requirements

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Recent applicable clinical experience in a comparable setting.
• Membership in a professional organization.
