Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Maintain rigorous aseptic sterile techniques in strict alignment with AORN and ASPAN standards to ensure optimal surgical outcomes and zero-percent infection rates.
• Acute Care Management: Expertly assess physical and psychological patient status, delivering targeted interventions and pain management strategies that improve recovery timelines.
• Proactive Coordination: Anticipate complex case-specific needs by synthesizing deep knowledge of pathophysiology and surgical procedures to streamline OR/PACU workflow.
• Discharge Strategy: Spearhead multidisciplinary discharge planning, coordinating with families and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
