Registered Nurse PACU

About the role

A PACU Registered Nurse responsible for immediate post-operative patient care, including airway management, neurological and cardiac monitoring, wound care, and patient stability during recovery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct post-surgical care
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Respond promptly to complications
• Supervise assistive personnel
• Flexibility to rotate to other areas based on competency and on-call availability during non-business hours

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (Colorado or multi-state)
• BLS certification
• ACLS & PALS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• With a minimum of one year of experience, preferably in PACU, critical care, or emergency settings
