2 years PACU RN experience required, preferably in a high acute care hospital; ICU experience required. Cath Lab experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care based on knowledge of basic competencies in the fundamentals of peri-anesthesia nursing and pharmacology
- Deliver care using the nursing process applied to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge
- Apply a comprehensive understanding of peri-anesthesia standards of care, airway management, nursing assessment parameters, and pharmacology, including doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and reactions to medications
Requirements
- BLS (AHA)
- CA RN Licensure
- ACLS
- PALS
- 2 years PACU RN Experience Required, preferably in a high acute care hospital
- ICU required
- Cath Lab experience preferred
Schedule
- 4 x 10 days with start times between 10A-11A; no weekends
- Float required to other campuses if needed and census permits
