About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care to a diverse patient population across various surgical specialties and trauma cases.
- Assessing patient needs, administering interventions, and ensuring safe recovery post-anesthesia.
- Communicating effectively with anesthesia providers, surgeons, patients, and families to facilitate smooth perioperative transitions.
- Supporting preoperative evaluations and patient education through Pre-Anesthesia Screening Services (PASS).
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure exceptional care delivery.
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma, with formal knowledge equivalent to two years of college-level study.
- 1–3 years of RN experience in PACU, ICU, or ED settings.
- Current Maryland RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Schedule
Full-time role with a shift from 10:00am to 10:30pm.
