Registered Nurse – Outpatient Cardiology

The Care Team RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Cardiology Outpatient Practice, focusing on Valve and Structural Heart Disease Clinics. Responsibilities include pre-visit preparation, direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. The role emphasizes collaboration with providers and team members, supporting professional nursing practices across the continuum of care. The RN will plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of care, adhering to the ANA Nursing Standards. Leadership activities such as precepting, quality improvement, and committee participation are expected. The RN delegates tasks based on skill level, patient acuity, and resource availability, demonstrating excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills. Qualifications include a nursing degree from an accredited program, at least one year of RN experience, and current licensure and BLS certification. Cardiac Experience And a BSN Are Preferred.
