About the role
The Care Team RN provides comprehensive nursing care within the Cardiology Outpatient Practice, focusing on Valve and Structural Heart Disease Clinics. The RN supports professional practice across care settings, adhering to the Mayo Nursing Care Model and ANA standards.
Responsibilities
- Pre‑visit preparation
- Direct patient care
- Patient education
- Care transitions
- Effective communication and collaboration with providers and team members
- Support professional practice across care settings
- Adhere to the Mayo Nursing Care Model and ANA standards
- Demonstrate leadership through mentoring, precepting, and quality‑improvement activities
- Delegate patient care based on skill, experience, and resource availability
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- At least one year of RN experience (cardiac experience preferred)
- BSN preferred
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, critical‑thinking, and computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing situations
Pay
Compensation ranges from $35.84 to $58.84 per hour.
Schedule
Full‑time, nonexempt position. No weekend shifts. Flexible hours as needed.
