Registered Nurse – Outpatient Cardiology

Role Overview: The Care Team RN provides specialized nursing care in the Cardiology Outpatient Practice, focusing on Valve and Structural Heart Disease Clinics. Responsibilities include pre-visit preparation, direct patient care, education, and care transitions, both face-to-face and remote. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care aligned with the Mayo Nursing Care Model.Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and team members.Lead and support quality improvement initiatives, mentoring, and committee participation.Delegate patient care appropriately based on skill, experience, and resource availability. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; one year of RN experience required.Current RN license and BLS certification; additional state or specialty certifications as needed.Experience in direct patient care, preferably in cardiac settings, with strong communication and teamwork skills.Proficiency in electronic medical records and adaptability to dynamic work environments.
